Cynthia was in the banking industry for 15 years and I worked for the Phone Company as well as the Electric Company. Cynthia got started in the business first because I had no interest in the business. I was born and raised in Chicago. I worked in the corporate world for 23 years from a receptionist to accounts payable/receivable and left the same way I started... with nothing. I was divorced early in my marriage and had to raise 2 children the best way I knew how. During my struggle I tried several networking business, but never saw the money.

I am inspired to write because I know that family is always #1 in the hearts of those who care. My story is a little different because I have been a Catholic nun for several years. And if anyone knows anything about the promises nuns take; to live a life of poverty is one of the promises. I am still new and just beginning my story. I work in the computer programming industry and have become frustrated with the long demanding hours (being on call 24/7), rude obnoxious managers, and still not having any job security. I have had my job “outsourced” several times, and each time I find myself looking for a job I am older and more “obsolete” and have more trouble finding a job. On top of it all, the long hours of a corporate job was too much for my young daughter and causing her problems at school. I knew I needed something else. I looked into several different business opportunities and tried a few. At the same time I was fighting with insurance companies and trying to find descent insurance. When I came across AmeriPlan I researched it thoroughly. I decided that this was something that could help me with my health care issues as well as my financial issues and decided to give it a try. I could tell immediately that this was different from the other “opportunities” I had tried. The biggest differences for me were: 1) the fact that I was actually using the product and saving money with it, and 2) Brian, my sponsor, was always there for me answering questions and helping me along the way. It hasn't always been easy. I have had to get out of my comfort zone and do new things and that takes time to learn. After my wife passed away I was a camp host in the Pacific Northwest state parks for two years. I decided to settle down and find something else to do with my life.
